B&E Clean Bins is a small business born from the childhood dreams of two best friends, Brett Buyert and Eric Foster. Randomly paired together in English class in the 7th grade and assigned the reading of Jack London’s ‘White Fang’ and told to discuss it, Brett and Eric became fast friends. Discuss ‘White Fang’ they did, as well as many other subjects only two fourteen year old boys could possibly think are important.

Luckily, among all of these subjects of an adolescent nature, was the idea of someday owning a business together. Nearly twenty years later and they signed the dotted lines and opened up B&E for business in summer of 2023. With great support from friends, family, and a businesses minded community like Sioux County, B&E has been a blessing to both Brett and Eric.

Though they are a long ways from the classroom setting that aligned the two to become such great friends, they have found that owning a small business, like so many things in life, proves to be as great a teacher and learning experience as any.
